Meet the SLT

I am delighted to be headteacher at St Michael’s. I arrived here having had a diverse career in education spanning thirty-five years. Latterly my career has been focused in and around Exeter and North Devon. I have worked in a diverse range of schools across the primary and nursery phases and chaired the governing body of a large, local secondary school. I am absolutely committed to ensuring that the whole school community works together to ensure your children get the best possible learning and life opportunities.

I live in Heavitree with my husband and two daughters. We worship locally, at St Michael’s. In my spare time I have a productive, if slightly weed inhabited allotment and spend as many weekends as possible there or in Cornwall. Wherever I work, children get the opportunity to meet a very important member of our family, Oli. He is an experienced therapy dog who has been a regular part of the school team, working with all children but specifically with pupils with identified social emotional needs.
