Our School Vision and Values
Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Our Vision for the school community
‘Deep Roots Bearing Fruit- Enriching Lives Every Day’
Our vision is inspired by 'The Parable of the Sower' taken from the synoptic gospels. Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, Luke 8:4–15
The parable talks of how the good news of God is offered freely to everyone and that different people respond to it in different ways. In the same way, as a school, our Christian foundation permeates through all we do in an inclusive and invitational way, recognising that our school family bring with them their own beliefs and world views which will shape their response.
It is the basis of our Christian Values of:
Excellence; Nurture; Respect; Integrity; Compassion; Hope
Our Values: ENRICH
These six values sit at the heart of our curriculum and community. Together, they spell ENRICH, and they shape how we learn, how we treat one another, and who we want our children to become:
Excellence- striving to achieve our very best in all that we do.
Nurture- creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued and able to thrive.
Respect- valuing ourselves, others and the diverse world in which we live.
Integrity- acting with honesty, responsibility and moral courage.
Compassion- showing kindness, empathy and care for others.
Hope- inspiring aspiration, resilience ad confidence in the future.
We have worked with our school community including Father Ben and the Ethos Team to create a progression of values. We are currently working on this and will be implementing this shortly.
Each value has a set of Bible stories that are shared during Collective Worship and there are also examples of people from history and today, across all faiths and nationalities that are taught alongside this.
