Our School Vision and Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

‘Deep Roots Bearing Fruit- Enriching Lives Every Day’

Our vision is inspired by 'The Parable of the Sower' taken from the synoptic gospels. Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, Luke 8:4–15

The parable talks of how the good news of God is offered freely to everyone and that different people respond to it in different ways. In the same way, as a school, our Christian foundation permeates through all we do in an inclusive and invitational way, recognising that our school family bring with them their own beliefs and world views which will shape their response.

It is the basis of our Christian Values of:

Excellence; Nurture; Respect; Integrity; Compassion; Hope (ENRICH)

What does ENRICH mean to you?

Quotes from children

  • (UKS2) 'ENRICH is the highest level of achieving doing everything all the time.'
  • (UKS2) ' ENRICH shows all our values at once.'
  • (LKS2) 'Our values show in how we speak and act to others.'
  • (KS1) 'They tell me what I should do.'
  • (KS1) 'We need to follow our values so we can learn.'
